About the event

Can precisely managed livestock actually improve land durability, slash vegetation management costs, and lower wildfire risks?

Join the Farmer Veteran Coalition of California (FVCCA) at Camp San Luis Obispo for an immersive, practical field day centered around Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) rotational grazing. Inspired by the groundbreaking research of MAJ Eric Czaja and MAJ Ian McAlpine ("Send in the Cows"), this event demonstrates how regenerative grazing practices create resilient, high-utility acreage.

Whether you manage an active livestock operation or want to learn how to integrate rotational grazing as a land-management tool, this field day offers a front-row seat to the future of regenerative agriculture.

📍 Arrival & Meeting Point: Please plan to park and meet outside the Officer's Club. We will gather here as a group at 9:00 AM for our introductions before moving out to the pastures and grazing locations together.
